This just in from the Sixth Congresional District DFL:
Freshman 1st District Congressman Tim Walz will give the keynote address at
4:004:30 p.m. at the 6th Congressional District Garden Party fundraiser on Saturday, July 21.
Walz, from Mankato, is a veteran and former high-school teacher and coach who defeated a six-term Republican in Minnesota's 1st Congressional District last fall. Walz inspires Minnesotans with his common-sense analysis of events and issues in Washington D.C. He will bring his message to the vast and beautiful private garden of Mick Raeker and Gabe Davis in Otsego, MN.
This will be a rare opportunity for many metro and northern and western metro DFLers to hear from Congressman Walz in person. He has not appeared in the 6th Congressional District before! He will be joined in the program by many DFL candidates and elected officials.
When: Saturday, July 21 from2 - 4 p.m. 2-6 p.m. (Program at4:004:30 p.m.)
Where: at the home of Mick Raeker and Gabe Davis, 6689 Packard Avenue NE, Otsego, MN
How much: Open donation fundraiser. Give only what you are inspired to donate - eligible for the Political Contribution Refund.
