National Journal places Walz among centrists

08centrists Today's been so busy that we haven't had a chance to read the district papers for a news digest, but one should come out in the evening.

In the meantime, we found this chart of  "The Centrists" at the National Journal.  Congressman Walz is on the list, down near the bottom, a fact sure to aggravate both his rivals seeking the GOP nomination to run against him in November and his critics on the left. Walz ran as a moderate in 2006.

For ourselves, we look forward to watching our pachyderm friends bluster about Walz's National Journal ranking, while simultaneously hyper-frothing about its score for Barack Obama.  We end up wondering how much the RPM and NRCC spend on litmus paper.
