Three-term incumbent congressman Tim Walz has posted his campaign committee's July quarterly report to the FEC website.
While the Republican Party contenders were locked in an increasingly scrappy primary fight, Walz's campaign raised $234,855.59 according to the summary page. The committee had $808,644.04 cash on hand at the end of June and no debt.
The cash on hand towers over the bankroll for Allen Quist, the only one of the two Republican foes to file his report. The Minneapolis Star Tribune reported that Quist raised $178K for congressional race, including at least $100K in self-funding. According to Quist's report on file at the FEC,
The detailed summary of Walz's fundraising reveals that $133,560.25 (slightly more than half of his haul) came from individual donors, while political and party committees contributed $104,045.34. (Some refunds were made to contributors; hence the discrepancy in the sets of figures between the summary and detailed summary pages.)

And now, like the rest of his fans, we eagerly await Emo Senator Mike Parry's report.
