The editor of the Northern Star, our fine newspaper from northern Big Stone County (let's not talk about that Ortonville rag), has written at least twice in opposition to Voter ID. Last I spoke with her, she was thinking about writing on it again.

The Annual Meeting of the Minnesota Conference United Church of Christ passed a resolution opposing voter ID. The resolution was written by the Conference Justice and Witness Team, which has been running weekly articles opposing voter ID (and the marriage amendment). It has also sponsored organizing events with the Mayflower UCC ISAIAH team, prepared a Letter to the Editor Tool Kit, and some of its members are speaking at congregations.
