This is wonderful, Sally Jo! It's good to see the good guys winning.

I'm wondering about why Xcel Energy no longer needed or wanted the dam. Are they getting better power via wind?

Editor: While that's part of the mix now, I think that the old coal plant just outlived its life span. But the underlying point is a good one: with wind, no need for water for cooling.
