Over at Minnesota Campaign Report, Joe Bodell recommends going over to DailyKos and the Swing State Project and recommending Tim Walz to be a netroots candidate. Demrock6 weighs in on MnCR's comments with a motion to recommend Walz to Russ Feingold's Progressive Patriot's Fund
One of the most interesting things garnered from reading the pro-Walz recommendations is the passion for Walz. I've yet to met a person who has met him and not come away impressed with the candidate's genuine goodness, character, and vision.
Hard to explain but wonderful to experience. It's easy to understand why he's a great teacher, soldier, husband and father.
Bluestem Prairie readers can get a chance to meet Tim Walz tomorrow night in Rochester's Eastwood Park. Carson Romme, a DFL precinct chair for Rochester 4-5 sent us this note:
Just thought I would drop you a line and let you know that Tim will be at Eastwood park Tuesday night from 6-8 meeting people from the precinct and talking about issues in the community. Just a little grassroots event we threw together but I think that getting coverage of events like this really show what kind of character Tim has. Everyone is welcome so feel free to spread the word.
Thanks
Go over to the web sites mentioned above and put in a good word for Walz. He's got a great campaign team, terrific netroots support in Minnesota and the country, and he's busting tail to meet voters. What he needs to put him over the top is money and these online opportunities will help greatly. Remember Mr. Sponge's 10 x 10 program too.
Then, if you have the opportunity, shake the man's hand in Rochester tomorrow night.
