This is just the boondoggle to end all boondoggles. Trains magazine has been following the story since Day One -- we're talking about a woefully undercapitalized company that wants a ton of money to burrow into the Powder River region to get a slice of the profitable coal-hauling traffic -- even though the contracts for such have been sewn up long ago by the rail lines currently serving the Powder River basin (and to give some of that business to a newcomer carrier would be breaching the contracts the coal companies have with the railroads).
