Just a reminder about two events tomorrow. In Minneapolis, Congressman Walz will join Senator Klobuchar and Representative Ellison for a Town Hall Forum on Darfur.
The event will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, March 11, at Plymouth Congregational Church, 1900 Nicollet Ave.
The program also includes a briefing by Dr. Michael Barnett, Humphrey Institute scholar on genocide and former Fellow of the Council on Foreign Relations International Affairs at the U.S. mission to the United Nations.
Free and open to the public, the forum is organized by the Minnesota Interfaith Darfur Coalition and is co-sponsored by the Genocide Intervention Network and other human rights organizations, synagogues, churches and universities.

Later on Sunday, Representative Walz will be in Rochester to answer questions about applications to military service academies. The Rochester Post Bulletin published this notice of the scholarship opportunity:
High school juniors considering West Point, Air Force Academy, Naval Academy or the Merchant Marine Academy for college are invited to an academy information session at 7 p.m. Sunday at Holiday Inn South. You should be involved in extracurricular activities, athletics and have a strong academic record. Those admitted typically have an ACT reading score of 26 and math of 28 or higher (1270 or higher on SAT for verbal/math). Rep. Tim Walz and a cadet from West Point will be present. Questions may be directed to Walz's office in Mankato at 388-2149. Guidance offices and career centers have more information.
