Those pesky college graduates at IDHA have posted their You Tubes of Saturday's listening session at the Winona VFW on IDHA. Our schedule won't allow us to edit and post our own footage until tomorrow, so here's Jason's video of the medal presentation:
Joe Bodell interviews Mark Dayton at MNCR in Dayton Talks Shop: Clinton '08, Dayton '10, US Attorneys. Judging from the talk we've been hearing from around the district, we agree with Dayton's assessment:

In the pipeline?
Former congressman Gil Gutknecht is proposing an ethanol pipeline from Nevada, Iowa, to the Flint Hills Resources’ Pine Bend Refinery in Rosemount, Minnesota. Gutknecht suggests that a pipeline would help keep farmers from being captive to any one railroad.

The first post is up: Farm Bill blogging: a dispatch from the ground war in Southern Minnesota. Bluestem Prairie wasn't cited in the post.
Although I live in the extreme southeast corner of the 7th CD for now, I was born in Mankato and graduated from St. Peter Public Schools. Much of my extended family still resides in the First; with the exception of my Danish grandfather, who immigrated in 1912, all of my recent ancestors settled in Southern Minnesota beginning with the Blue Earth County Otts before statehood. I consider it home. I'll continue to post here using the pen name.
