The Star Tribune reports that Employer sets up fund for families of sewer workers:
Lametti and Sons, of Hugo, has set up the David and Joe fund in honor of David Yasis of Maplewood, and Joe Harlow of Plainview. They were working in St. Paul's sewer system on Thursday when they were drowned by a surge of water from a sudden downpour. . . .
. . .The fund is being established as an educational fund for the needs of Harlow's four children, and for Yasis's immediate family. Contributions can be made to any Bremer bank and should be noted for either Harlow or Yasis.
Harlow, of Plainview in Minnesota's First Congressional District, was in his early thirties, and so his four children are little kids. Yasis was in his 20s, and his parents have lost a hardworking son. Locations for Bremer Banks are available here.
Wow... I just bought his RX7. I can't believe it.
