The Strib's article on the permanent campaign in the First, For Walz, reelection race is in full swing does cite a reputable source: James Bonham, former congressional staffer and DCCC exec director whose Blue Donkey Group assisted with strategy and media last year. Bonham left the DCCC in 2005.

All the time and the money in the world does not matter if you aren't on the right side of the issues.
I haven't seen Walz campaigning for re-election ... I've seen Walz working for his District.
