Walz statement on the I-35 bridge collapse

Congressman Walz's office has released the following statement:

Today, Congressman Tim Walz issued the following statement regarding yesterday's collapse of the I-35W bridge in Minneapolis:

        "I'd like to offer my condolences to anyone who lost a family member or friend in this tragic accident and my deepest gratitude for those who participated in the rescue and recovery efforts.  My thoughts and prayers are with the citizens of the Minneapolis - St. Paul area today."
