A rash of vandalism and break-ins seem to have hit Southern Minnesota of late. This morning's Faribault County Register reports that Wells Juveniles cause more than $5,000 in damage in three break-ins in Kiester, a small town nestled amid glacial moraines. Two of the boys are students at the middle school they broke into. Deputies were able to catch the youthful miscreants, all under 16, by tracking their footprints in the snow.
