We've spent far too much of a perfect May day inside. We'll be back to blog about politics after some more time outside. Yesterday's ramble took us to Minneopa Cemetery and Minneopa State Park, where the wild flowers and birds were delightful. We visited the 1860s-era windmill where our ancestors had their grain ground. We were struck by the fact that even now, we worry about commodity prices and wind power.
We'll have pictures and the promised post about the Louisiana special election., once we come home after the sun sets.
Update: Our ramble to a favorite morel grounds took longer than we thought. We saw a Northern Mockingbird there--a rarity in Minnesota ( no, we're not telling where bird and 'shrooms are). Such lovely, lush singing.
The pictures and posts will come early in the morning. G'night. [end update]
