I listened to most of the MN Senate debate on MPR today. Tonight, I watched some of the Colorado Senate debate which featured Congressman Udall who voted with Walz against the bailout. There was a marked difference between Udall and the three Minnesota candidates. Coleman was all about him ... Franken was all about Bush and Coleman ... Barkley had some of the best rationale, yet one has to wonder would another Independent like VT Sanders be able to do more for Minnesota than a member of the minority party or the majority party. Udall sound much like Walz ... and especially when you read Walz's Strib piece ... it makes me wish that Walz was a candidate for the Senate job ... and since I still haven't made up my mind as to who will get my vote in November, don't be surprised if Tim Walz gets a write-in vote. Heck, if Kevin Masrud has started a write in campaign against John Kline since the bailout fiasco, why shouldn't voters write in the candidate that they feel would best represent Minnesota in the Senate ?
