 In a must-read blog post, Larson cooks up another chili win, the editor of the Litchfield Independent Review writes about the hotly-debated win:

Meeker County DFLers have a chili cooking contest every year, an event that helps raise money for the party. Apparently, it also serves as a training ground for some in the party to export their culinary talents to other parts of the state.

It seems that Merle Larson, husband of Democratic National Committee member Nancy Larson, captured first place in the Senate Districts 29 and 30 DFL Chili Cook-off in Rochester Saturday. , ,
