Minnesota Central

Did you notice that former First District Republican candidate for Congress, Mark Meyer of Lake Crystal is listed as a contributor to Independence Party candidate Roy Srp ?

Minnesota Central

FYI : The Republican Party of Minnesota is currently running a commercial (as an independent expenditure so I presume that is not included in Parry's fundraising) on the radio (using a station that I believe Parry has management involvement in his previous employment career). The ad proclaims that Engbrecht would raise sales taxes (I am not sure of the exact wording, but that was the message that I heard) and proclaiming how Parry would not raise taxes. Funny, that they do not mention the Mkto-FreePress article which stated that Parry "would cut even some of the most popular state spending in rural Minnesota — programs that directly reduce homeowners’ tax bills, that help fund rural cities, that pay the costs of running local schools."

Minnesota Central

FYI : Mark Meyer has a story in the Lake Crystal Tribune inviting residents of Districts 23, 24 and 21B to attend the Independence Party caucus. He is listed as Vice-Chairman for the First District .... wonder who they will offer to compete against Congressman Walz ?
