A friend just sent news of this YouTube posted by the Olmsted County DFL:
Rochester isn't the only city in the First to see pro-reform rallies this week. The Mankato Free Press looked at Monday's rally in Group demonstrates for health care reform, while KEYC-TV reported in Health Care Supporters Rally At Congressman Walz' Office.
The Waseca County News profiled one local doctor's efforts in Doctor demonstrates in support of health care reform. In Walz inclined to vote for health reform bill, the congressman told the Post Bulletin:
When asked whether Walz is worried that voting "yes" on the bill could hurt his re-election chances, he said that is something he is not concerned about.
He added, "If I believe in my heart, which I do, that this is simply the right thing to do, it is economically the right thing to do for the long-term viability of this country, we could do this better, we could do it smarter, we can be healthier and we can save money, I am going to support that, and if that means I go back to teaching school so be it because this is far bigger than me."
