Following Demmer's "Young Gun" selection, Walz win odds raised to 97%

Earlier this week, Bluestem posted Beltway Republicans promote Demmer to Young Gun; Walz given 96% chance of retaining seat.

Today, the New York Times race profile for the First lists the FiveThirtyEight model at a 97% chance of a Democratic win.

Bluestem can't say for certain what nudged Walz's odds of a win up a percentage point. It's hard not to thank the NRCC for drawing attention to the district, however.
