Even Bachmann's paid commercial spokesman, FakeJim the Election Guy, phones it in from California.
A letter to the Stillwater Gazette, Clark is here, while U.S. Rep. Bachmann panders elsewhere, sums up the contrast between the Sixth District congressional candidate' work ethics fairly well:
Why is it not a surprise that Michele Bachmann's campaign ads started out totally negative? She has no record of accomplishment in four years in Congress. Instead of representing her 6th District, she spends her time courting the Tea Party and right-wing national media.
Tarryl Clark, on the other hand, has an exemplary record of accomplishment to run on. As a state senator, she worked on reducing costly mandates for local schools and local government. She blocked tax increases on small businesses, fought for fair benefits for veterans and military families and cut her own legislative pay.
I urge my fellow voters to examine carefully Clark's thoughtful positions on all the important issues facing us this year versus the total lack of accomplishment of her opponent and vote for Tarryl Clark.
