While not explicitly saying so, this is nothing more than the "blame the outside agitators who want to take away our way of living" line of bull. Couch it in what ever terms you want, Rep. Hamilton is just trying to raise the spectre of DFHs prowling our countryside, trying to capture on film examples of alleged abuse in order to make us all vegetarians--or some other crazy notion. :-)

Mike: Agreed. You'll find that the better operators -- be they on the farm, in the feedlot, or in the packing house -- understand without having to be told that humanely-treated livestock provide better, healthier food. This is the point Dr. Temple Grandin has spent her entire career making.
