Pioneer Public TV: Bob Cunniff and Mary Franson face off in House District 8B

Because of controversial statements made by incumbent Mary Franson, and the popularity of retired Alexandria coach and teacher Bob Cunniff, the race in House District 8B is considered more competitive than it might be if one simply looks at the numbers.

The first question is about supporting the Second Amendment. Both support it; Franson is endorsed by the National Rifle Association.

FRanson's statements about the consequences of legalizing same-sex marriage, and connects the election of Al Franken and felons voting. She accuses Cunniff and Secretary of State Mark Ritchie "fearmongering" and making up numbers.
