Wife of state rep Gruenhagen promoted three events for speaker who compares Hitler & Obama

Earlier this afternoon, Bluestem posted McLeod County Republican event: the hills are alive with the sound of Eagle Forum's Kitty Werthmann comparing Obama & Hitler.

We have since discovered that Emily Gruenhagen, an executive board member of the McLeod County Republican Party BPOU and spouse of conservative Republican House member Glenn Gruenhagen, took an active role in promoting a speaker notorious for comparing President Obama to Adolf Hitler.

Emily Gruenhagen listed herself as "organizer" in the wherevent listing for the Republican Party of McLeod County (MN) BPOU, Kitty Werthmann, survivor of Nazi-controlled Austria:

It's nowhere as totally outrageously newsworthy as joking on twitter about wanting to see a plane crash on a reality TV game show, but Bluestem does wonder how Republicans might react if the spouse of a DFL elected promoted events featuring a speaker who compared a Republican elected official to Hitler.

Representative Gruenhagen has attracted national attention for his comments on global warming as a United Nations plot, his ex-gay friend and the need to destroy Kinsey's "filthy" research.
