Tea Party activists had a plethora of questions about fiscal responsibility 4 Rep Kline at the South Metro Tea Party pic.twitter.com/Guk6xjgS41

John Kline voted for the budget deal last Thursday, despite reservations, Heather Carlson reported in the Post Bulletin's Political Notebook. MPR's Brett Neely wrote:
Conservative groups that helped push for the government shutdown in October immediately condemned the deal after it was announced on Tuesday.
Kline, who is facing a tea party challenger next year, said those groups were unrealistic about what could be accomplished under divided government.
The Second District Republican stepped into the fiery furnace of that condemnation tonight, attending a Tea Party gathering in Apple Valley that had been set merely to combat an anti-bullying bill while putting Christ back into Christmas. [Insert joke here].
Jake Duesenberg, one of the organizer of the Minnesota Tea Party Alliance, tweeted the photo above.
Conservative blogger John Gilmore and Duesenberg exchanged twitter chatter about the visit:
Good for him. Hope people are adults. RT @jduesenberg: John Kline just showed up to the South Metro Tea Party #mnleg #stribpol

.@jduesenberg Only that I hoped he would be treated with respect. I assume you agree.

@Shabbosgoy He was treated the way any rep of the people would be treated if they ignore the Constitution and fiscal responsibility

Duesenberg is the treasurer of the MN Tea Party PAC, which he and PAC Chair Jack Rogers registered in April 2013.
Will pressure from the Tea Party make Kline turn right? Is the rare public and unscripted appearance on Kline's part a sign that he's already on that path? Will Gilmore, a frequent critic of the Paul and Tea Party branches of the Republican Party of Minnesota, have something more to say about this development at Minnesota Conservatives?
Though largely suburban, the south-of-the-river Second District includes acreage in rural Dakota, Goodhue, Rice and Wabasha Counties
