Are the Winona County Republicans trying to shed the stigma of negative publicity about Facebook page posts?
The Republican basic part operating unit's (BPOU's) Facebook page--which still hovers around 121 "Likes" and links from its "About" page to the Winona County Republicans website (as well as listing past Winona County Republican gatherings on its "Events" page--is now called "Winona County Conservatives."
A reader has to dig past the front timeline, though, to determine that, since it's not clear on the surface that this is a Republican party unit. The BPOU is indeed named the Winona County RPM in its registration with the Minnesota Campaign Finance and Public Disclosure Board.
If completely distancing itself from earlier online mocking is the intent, it's not working terribly well, for the link to the old page embedded in City Pages representaive Blotter post last month, Winona County GOP shares doctored image of Michelle Obama with gold grills on Facebook [UPDATE] goes to the Winona County "Conversatives."
Here's the link to the "Winona County Conservatives":

Here's the link to the "Winona County Republicans" (from the City Pages' embedded URL):

Note that the page ID number is the same: 305558134725
Perhaps the Winona County Republicans simply are trying to rebrand, rather than evade the City Pages Blotter media jackals as they scan social media for fresh fodder.
If so, Bluestem has to wonder if this is a misstep on the BPOU's part, in that the spirit of Minnesota's disclosure laws would suggest that all publications by registered candidates, political action committees and party units must be clearly identifiable.
Fear of a City Pages Planet--or have the Winona County Conservatives actually seceded from the Grand Old Party?
