While Jim Knoblach is appealing the dismissal of his lawsuit challenging the construction of a new seante office building, the former St. Cloud legislator to also hoping to capture the Republican endorsement in House District 14B.
Freshman DFLer Zachary Dorholt now holds the St. Cloud area seat.
The St. Cloud Times reports in Knoblach announces run for House 14B:
Former GOP state Rep. Jim Knoblach has announced he’s running for the Minnesota House seat now held by freshman DFL Rep. Zachary Dorholt.
Knoblach becomes the second Republican to announce a run for the seat in House District 14B, joining Paul Brandmire. . . . .
Knoblach, a St. Cloud real estate investor, served in the state House from 1995 to 2006, when he chose not to run again. . . .
Knoblach sought the Republican endorsement for the open Sixth Congressional district seat in 2006, but lost the race to Michele Bachmann.
