Bluestem has begun to relish media accounts of Marty Seifert's "maverick" campaign. In the Worthington Globe story just posted tonight, 'Maverick' Seifert touts credentials in visit, we were delighted to read:
“I’m the guy who’s showing up, and I think people appreciate a candidate who goes out there and talks to local folks,” Seifert said. “It’s not about sitting in an office in the Cities and posting on Twitter and Facebook hoping for the best. It’s about doing real work.”
We're not sure if that means the reest of the clown car running in the Republican primary, Governor Mark Dayton, or the various other candidates stuck away in that cube farm in the Cities.
Meanwhile, the Marty Seifert for Governor Facebook page created five new posts within the past 24 hours, while the @seifertmn account tweeted six times today. It's mostly media appearances, though there's that stop in Willmar.
