A reader sent an email directing Bluestem to check the Agricultural Utilization Research Institute (AURI) event page, as the September 18, 2014 board meeting has been cancelled.
Just before 10:00 a.m. this morning, Bluestem posted about the meeting in AURI to consider bylaw changes at September 18 board meeting, fails to share place and time. According to Minnesota open meeting statutes, changes in the location of regular meetings must be published in the State Register or published elsewhere at least three days before the meeting.
We also see that the place and time for the now-cancelled meeting has been posted. That should help those of us planning to attend not have to drive into the Cities.
Here's the screenshot from this morning (note the date hobering in the lower righthand corner:
Here's what the page looks like now:
Here's hoping that they'll post the place and time of the November 20, 2014 board meeting with plenty of time for curious citizens to decide whether to attend the meeting.
Of course, it has to be totally unlikely that there's any relationship to the cancellation of Thursday's meeting and our earlier post.
We'll update this post when we learn why the meeting was cancelled.
