Back in August, Bluestem reported in Fall tour: Islamophobic pastor Usama Dakdok to speak in Brimson, St. Cloud & Grand Rapids:
According to his calendar on The Straight Way Ministry, anti-Islam extremist pastor Usama Dakdok will return to Greater Minnesota's Islamophobic speaking circuit in September and October.
Dakdok compares Allah to Satan and calls Muslims "demons."
Since then Dakdok has added two more stops in Duluth and Brainerd, according to his calendar.
Duluth September 22: Mt. Olive Lutheran Church (Missouri Synod)
Dakdok will be speaking about "Revealing the Truth about Jihad and Terrerosim [sic]" at the Mount Olive Lutheran Church in Duluth on September 22. The church is part of the Missouri Synod; the synod's website includes a pdf information sheet about Islam from the synod's perspective; the document contrasts with Dakdok's more extreme views of the faith.
The local congregation appears to be part of the anti-Muslim circuit that Bluestem has documented since 2013. Earlier this summer, ant expert and former Department of Homeland Security employee Philip Haney spoke at the church, according to a Facebook post by Republican state senate candidate Donna Bergstrom:
Late in August, Right Wing Watch reported Anti-Islam 'Whistleblower' Philip Haney Says God Is Directing His Work.
Brainerd: Oak Street Chapel, September 29
Dakdok will appear at the Oak Street Chapel in Brainerd on September 29. The congregation bills itself as a place for non-denominational Bible-based Christian worship and fellowship.
