The public fretting by a supporter of state representative Tim Miller, R-Prinsburg, over the federal political action committee kept by the DFL ally Alliance for a Better Minnesota got us thinking about what Miller's own caucus's own federal committee was up to.
Turns out to be doing more in 2016 than the ABM Federal PAC.
According to the most recent Statement of Organization on file with the FEC, the House Republican Campaign Committee "FEC Committee ID #: C00487678 This committee is a Local committee of the Party." (bold in original).
In the House Republican Campaign Committee April Quarterly report to the Federal Election Commission, we find that fundraiser Trisha Hamm, paid $4500 for the first three months of 2016, managed to snag money from these corporate PACs:

Where did that precious $24,500 of corporate federal PAC cash go, other than to pay the fundraiser? According to the filing, all $20,000 was passed on to the Republican Party of Minnesota on March 23, 2016.
The haul for the next three months is less, a mere $14,500 from four other corporate federal PACS, according to the July quarterly report with the FEC:

Once again, Hamm received $4500, but no other disbursements were made in the quarter.
Should Miller's supporters fret about whether any money from this federal committee with all of it corporate givers trickle down to humble Prinsburg? In the October 2014 filing, $22058.39 in Disbursement for Allocated Federal/Nonfederal Activity was spent on administrative costs, so not definitely not directly.
Regardless, if Republicans in West Central Minnesota are concerned about federal campaign committees, they don't have to look beyond their own house caucus to find a little moneypot.
