Electric car charging stations make a lot of sense. They could encourage greater use of more environmentally sound transportation.
Voters should keep in mind that, under the Republican Pawlenty administration, the tobacco fund settlement money was also raided. That money was supposed to have been dedicated to health care and to public health education to reduce tobacco use among youth. Very little of it was left for its intended purpose.
