Minnesota's anti-Muslim leaders have the fantods over delegate trainings at mosques for the state's political caucuses on February 6, sharing their concerns via a long copy-and-paste Facebook post.
The delegate trainings, put together by the Muslim American Society and ISAIAH, are an attempt to increase caucus participation in the state's Muslim community. ISAIAH is also conducting trainings with churches and other organizations across the state.
Here's one presentation, a live video posted on the South Metro Islamic Center:
The notion of "ownership" of the caucus process by Muslims isn't sitting well with anti-Muslim activists like Act! for America Minnesota organizer Debra Anderson and state representative Cindy Pugh, R-Chanhassen (screenshot below). The cut and paste text:
The moral of this post: Attend caucuses.
Muslim American Society (MAS is the Muslim Brotherhood) has been holding training sessions for Caucus night the past few months in a Mosque in MN. I was very interested in what they were discussing. I was unable to attend so I had asked others if they could and one of my friends was able to go. In this session sits 27 men and two women, all Muslims. One other man is a Caucasian, who was warmly welcomed and they never questioned his motive.
So this is how the Professor of Macalester who is from Bangladesh leads the caucus training. He starts out by telling them its a very easy system to penetrate, you show up you win, Americans don't show up. He tells each person to bring ten individuals with them to caucus night to become delegates and vote him or her in.
They don't even have to campaign they just recruit. They go to the BPOU convention and go thru the process with their following. These groups of committed delegates are referred to as faith delegate squads. He tells them that they can control the outcome by showing up. He encourages them to infiltrate them all, Republican, Democratic as well as Green and Independent, get in them all because we can, the power is in showing up. The easiest is the Republicans because they don't show up.
He told the steps of caucusing and said when it comes to resolutions, we don’t care, ignore that it’s about becoming delegates.
He states that if they succeed at this they will have to come to us for endorsement and will be the body that approves the laws.
They are seeking in order, loosening up immigration, religious justice, handling the Islamaphobia and more money for education. They want their law to be acknowledged and they know this can happen by participating in the government and they will choose what law that all people will be judged under.
There is one candidate which he would not reveal was an example of this success. This individual has aligned 125 people to follow him thru the process, running for state senate.
Basically, our lazy asses have been called out, they know how to defeat what they don't want. He stressed how lazy we were in this process and how uneducated we were about it. They didn't talk about the general election but I am sure they are ahead of us in this as well.
We as Americans are always taking our freedom and lives for granted. We have been reactive rather than proactive.
I hope Caucus night will be packed by Americans who want to keep American Law and only American Law. Please show up on February 6th. Every one of you matters and is needed. Proactive is much better than reactive.
I call on all of you as my fellow patriots and brothers and sisters in Christ to take a stand and protect our futures, show up. Those who don't understand the process don't worry we will teach you. If you don't ask we cant help. Everybody has to start somewhere so don't let, not understanding our political process stop you from participating. We work together.
That's one scary agenda: they’re hoping to support immigration reform, fight Islamophobia and get more education funding. The horror! Heaven knows what nefarious plots the folks at ISAIAH training at the 1st UCC in Northfield or the one with those dirty hippies at Clean Up The River Environment (CURE) in Willmar concocted.
Here's Cindy Pugh's Facebook cut-and-paste of the anti-Muslim take on the training:
The west metro legislator's anti-Muslim sentiment are well documented. Pugh traveled to Rochester recently to take in a presentation by anti-Muslim Usama Dakdok and took in an anti-Shariah event in St. Cloud in 201.
In 2012, Bluestem reported Cindy Pugh warns Tea Party about threat of illiterate, disengaged & lazy voters--and Muslims. At the City Pages, Gregory Pratt reported Cindy Pugh, candidate for state rep., compares Muslim women to garbage bags.
