Subd. 2. State canvass. The State Canvassing Board shall meet at a public meeting space located in the Capitol complex area seven days after the state primary to canvass the certified copies of the county canvassing board reports received from the county auditors. Immediately after the canvassing board declares the results, the secretary of state shall certify the names of the nominees to the county auditors. The secretary of state shall mail to each nominee a notice of nomination.
That law doesn't sit well with one of the QAnon on the ballot: Six GOP-endorsed Minnesota candidates back conspiracy theory, identified by Star Tribune reporter Steve Montemayor on Tuesday. Now she's found something closer to home to make faces about on Facebook. That notice of nomination!
Qanon Republican Bangert is outraged at receiving a notice of nomination as the Republican candidate in Minnesota Senate District 19:
Our state hands out participation trophies for politics? I mean... Am I supposed to add this in my resume? đ Tax payer dollars hard at work.

Oh what fresh outrage is this? Secretary of State Steve Simon following the law! Heavens forbid an official seal shows up on an official document. Katie bar the door!
