Bluestem's been following the various iterations of "Rocks And Cows" Facebook groups since the summer, when we posted Rocks & Cows Facebook group members decry Ilhan Omar's son John--er Bruno Mars and Were Rocks & Cows billboards ever a grassroots thing? Sequel group still satire challenged.
Sadly, most of these Facebook groups have either disappeared or gone private.
One that emerged near the end of August, Rocks and Cows of Minnesota, persists. The domain for its website, Rocks and Cows of Minnesota- Defending Greater Minnesota Together, was registered with GoDaddy on July 31, 2020.
On that website's homepage, we read downpage under the subhead, HOW WE ARE FIGHTING:
We are working on turning Rocks and Cows into a true political organization that will survive and continue to fight, well past this upcoming election. We will be fighting for all of us in the outstate, or to us, the Greater State of Minnesota. Therefore we have filed to become a Political Hybrid PAC, that makes only independent expenditures.
Since we posted Rocks and Cows of MN supports MacDonald for state Supreme Court because tyranny, we haven't yet found any new "Political Hybrid PAC" with this name in the Minnesota Campaign Finance and Public Disclosure Board's web site database of recent filings for political committees and funds, nor the Federal Elections Commission committee database nor in the Internal Revenue Service's database of non-profit political committees.
At least not under this name
But the organization has filed Articles of Incorporation with the Minnesota Secretary of State. Searching the database of business filings, we found that information. Via a media request to the office, we obtained the filing.
Here's the document:

The address, which is public information, appears to be a private residence, according to a friend who often passes by it.
Property records for Stearns County show that the property is owned by an individual other than the name on the filing; we are not posting the property owner of record's name as we have not found any activity connected with the organization.
We emailed the incorporator on November with a media request about the organization's plan, but have not received a response back.
