We've been posting about the effort to ban commercial turtle harvests in Minnesota since 2019, most recently in Bury the lede: Strib reports "Minnesota lawmakers may end commercial turtle harvest."
Please join the fight for this effort. Herpetologist and turtle champion Christopher E. Smith has created a toolkit for those Minnesota readers who want to get their legislators on board with protecting the state's turtles.
