More cowbell rescheduled: Rocks & Cows Mankato West protest back on with State of State

 

 

Back on March 8, we posted More cowbell : Rocks & Cows to protest Walz's State of the State address at Mankato West High.

 

Sadly for those planning to peacefully--if loudly--protest Governor Walz's March 21 State of the State address, to be delivered from the classroom where the former educator taught for years--Walz, Flanagan quarantined after staff member tests positive for COVID-19 and the March 21 speech and the protest was postponed.

 

With the quarantine at its end, the Faribault Daily News and other news outlets reported yesterday, Walz to deliver State of the State address Sunday [March 28].

 

As the image at the top of the post shows, the peaceful protest is also rescheduled. But there's more.

 

On its Facebook post about the rescheduled protest, the co-sponsor Conservative Patriot Consortium claims that the threat of the protest--rather than exposure to COVID-19--caused the event to be rescheduled:

MANKATO PROTEST RESCHEDULED FOR THIS SUNDAY MARCH 21 [sic] AGAINST WALZ

Last time, the State Patrol called about our protest and less than 2 hours later he cancelled due to POSSIBLE exposure to Covid 19.

 

Now he thinks he has the upper hand by spreading his announcement on T.V. so WE NEED YOUR HELP sharing, posting, tweeting, getting this on MeWe, Telegram etc

According to the Conservative Patriot Consortium Page Transparency information, the page was created on March 22, 2021, so that state patrol call must have involved a glinch in the space-time consortium. Having seen Walz hold town halls during the height of Tea Party activism, we're skeptical about the premise.
