We've been following the Minnesota Legislature's Environment and Natural Resources Conference Committee (SF 959), but don't think we can do better than state representative Kelly Morrison's Monday morning tweets about this afternoon's meeting at 1:00 p.m. The first reveals an agenda dedicated to Clean Car standards, rather than LCCMR or the environmental omnibus bills:
Senate has the gavel in the #EnviroConferenceCommittee today. Neither of the #LCCMR bills or the #Enviro omnibus are on the Senate’s agenda. Why are we not passing the #LCCMR bills and negotiating the omnibus so our state parks stay open and our lakes stay swimmable and fishable? pic.twitter.com/SV8FOloowB

Important #EnvironmentalJustice provisions in House #Enviro omnibus bill. #EnviroConferenceCommittee at 1 pm today. https://t.co/JLOpNLAPY3

Those who watched Saturday's meeting know how skeptical Chairman Ingebrigsten is about the very notion of environmental justice. We'll probably post about it separately.
Remarkable individual effort to try to save monarchs. But we must problem solve together to address our big #Enviro challenges. So much good in the @mnenrtf #LCCMR bills. Let’s get them done in #EnviroConferenceCommittee today!https://t.co/M9IbX5Ppdb

Our friends at the Montvideo-based CURE tweeted this item along with the message about the OAH judge's ruling last week: A WIN for rural Minnesotans!! Are you ready for more vehicle choice, saving $$ when you drive, cleaner air, and less climate pollution? We are officially set to welcome MN Clean Cars standards. #CleanCarsMN
