Last night, Saturday Night Live included a parody of Governor Kristi Noem. At Raw Story, Bob Brigham reports in Jon Hamm returns to SNL as show imagines Trump at Mar-a-Lago during Hurricane Ian:
The opening skit featured Peyton Manning and brother Eli Manning analyzing the show's "cold open" as if it were a football game.
After an appearance by Kristi Noem discussing abortion, Eli Manning asked, "What the hell was that."
"The governor of South Dakota, a political cast impression that no one asked for," Peyton Manning said. "What about a fun impression like Anthony Fauci or Lindsey Graham or Rudy Giuliani?" . . .
Here's the sketch on SNL's YouTube channel:
Noem's Democratic opponent Jamie Smith tweeted an important observation:
Accurate.

I’d laugh if it weren’t so deadly serious. pic.twitter.com/zp2jX07qaD
it's not the first time Noem and other South Dakota politicians have been the subject of SBL sketch comedy--or the hosts of the show.
At South Dakota Standard, Tom Lawrence commented in South Dakota And Its Anti-Meth Campaign? SNL Is On It:
. ..I wonder if Sen. John Thune or Gov. Kristi Noem, both known for their Hollywood good looks, are ready for their moment in the "Saturday Night Live" spotlight?
Maybe Gov. Noem will end up like another female Republican governor, Sarah Palin, and the meth gag could become a running joke on “Saturday Night Live.”
But I think it’s about run its course, although it may well resurface in the 2022 gubernatorial campaign, and that wouldn’t be a laughing matter for Noem.
We're sure she'll be able to find some way to blame the latest sketch on Joe Biden.
