On Saturday, Bluestem updated the Minnesota Senate District 9 conservative candidate battle between Republican Party endorsed primary winner Jordan Rasmusson and primary loser and write-in candidate Nathan Miller in MN9: Republican Party of MN drops ban hammer on Nathan Miller calling himself a Republican.
On Tuesday, Michael Achterling reported for the Perham Focus in Minnesota GOP files complaint against Senate District 9 write-in candidate Nathan Miller. His reporting included the 13-page Republican Party of Minnesota complaint we embedded Miller Complaint and Exhibits on Scribd--and also captured Miller's response.
Achterling reports:
The Republican Party of Minnesota filed an official complaint against Nathan Miller, write-in candidate for state Senate District 9, with the Minnesota Office of Administrative Hearings on Oct. 14.
In the complaint, the MN GOP accused Miller of having "knowingly made false claims stating or otherwise implying that (Miller) has the support or endorsement of the Republican Party of Minnesota."
Miller lost the Republican primary election in August, 51.6% to 48.4%, to Jordan Rasmusson, Republican candidate for Senate District 9, and has since vowed to mount a write-in campaign for the seat due to perceived irregularities involving delegate-switching during the county caucus and district nominating process this past spring. . . .
In an e-mailed response to the complaint, Miller said he's a registered Republican and represented Eagle Lake Township as an official Republican delegate during the party endorsing conventions.
"This is exactly the establishment kind of tactics that turn people off from politics and being involved in their government," Miller added. "The attempt to make some form of scandal out of this is laughable at best. Instead of virtue and honor, their weapons of choice are deceit and election fraud after the caucus. This attempt to tie my campaign up in this minor complaint filed against me is an unnecessary waste of time and resources."
Miller also said he never claimed to be the "endorsed" Republican party candidate and also stated, "this majoring in the minors by the Republican Party is what will lead to a DFL win this fall."

There's been some adjustment on how Miller supporters are promoting the write-in campaign. On Facebook, Rocks and Cows of Minnesota shared this Caravan of Patriots image:
Miller is no longer a Republican write-in candidate. The Facebook page later posted:
